Vegan Banana Bread Recipe 🍌
Ingredients
3 very ripe bananas
200 g flour (all-purpose, whole wheat or spelt)
80 g brown sugar (or maple syrup)
60 ml vegetable oil (or coconut oil)
120 ml plant-based milk (soy, oat or almond)
1 packet baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1 pinch of salt
Chocolate chips or nuts (optional)
Instructions
Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
Add sugar, oil and plant-based milk, mix well.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix gently.
Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
Pour into a loaf pan lined with baking paper.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45–50 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
