Vegan Banana Bread

Vegan Banana Bread Recipe 🍌

Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas

  • 200 g flour (all-purpose, whole wheat or spelt)

  • 80 g brown sugar (or maple syrup)

  • 60 ml vegetable oil (or coconut oil)

  • 120 ml plant-based milk (soy, oat or almond)

  • 1 packet baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.

  2. Add sugar, oil and plant-based milk, mix well.

  3. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix gently.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.

  5. Pour into a loaf pan lined with baking paper.

  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45–50 minutes. Check with a toothpick.
